1. Who we are

Desi Rang is a homemade food restaurant at Shop 3, Lower Ground, Pakland Trader Centre, F-7 Markaz, Islamabad 44210. You can reach us on WhatsApp or by phone at +923317711116, or on Instagram at @desirang.official.

2. What we collect when you order

• Your name and mobile number, so we can confirm the order and contact you about it.
• Your delivery address and area, if you choose delivery.
• Any notes you add for the kitchen, such as spice level or allergies.
• The items, quantities, prices, order type, payment method and the language you used.
• The date and time of the order, and the IP address and browser it came from. We use these only to keep the ordering system safe, for example to stop automated or repeated abuse.

3. What we store in your browser

The website remembers your basket, your takeaway or delivery choice and area, and your language. This lives in your own browser (local storage and one cookie for the language) so the site works the same on your next visit. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party tracking. If we add analytics in future, we will update this policy first.

4. How we use your information

• To prepare, pack and deliver or hand over your order.
• To confirm the order and reach you on WhatsApp or by call if something needs checking.
• To keep records of orders for accounting and for resolving any problem with an order.
• To protect the website and our customers from fraud, abuse and mistakes.
• To understand which dishes people like so we can improve the menu. This uses order totals, not who you are.

5. WhatsApp

When you send your order on WhatsApp, the message travels through WhatsApp, which is run by Meta under its own terms and privacy policy. We only use WhatsApp to confirm and discuss your order. We never ask for card numbers or passwords on WhatsApp.

6. Who we share information with

• Our own delivery riders receive your name, phone number and address for a delivery order, and nothing else.
• Service providers that run our website, database and email on our behalf. The website and database are hosted with Hostinger on servers in the European Union; menu photos are stored with Cloudinary. These providers only process data for us and cannot use it for their own purposes.
• Authorities, if the law requires it.
• We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.

7. How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for our accounts and to handle any question about an order, normally up to two years, after which they are deleted or anonymised. Information in your browser stays until you clear it or empty the basket.

8. How we protect it

The website uses HTTPS, the admin area is protected with passwords and one-time email codes, and access is limited to the people who run the restaurant. No system is perfectly secure, so please tell us at once if you think something is wrong with your data.

9. Your choices

• Ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it: message us on WhatsApp at +923317711116. We may keep a minimal record of past orders where the law or our accounts require it.
• Clear your browser's site data for desirangpk.com to remove your basket, order preferences and language.
• Prefer not to give an address? Choose takeaway and we only need your name and phone number.

10. Children

The website is meant for adults. If you are under 18, please ask a parent or guardian to place the order.

11. Changes to this policy

When we change this policy we update the date at the top. Important changes will also be mentioned on the website. Using the website after a change means you accept the updated policy.
